  24. OS2 and Windows were totally seprate product lines 
  25. that you bought software for one or the other. Any software that worked on 
  26. OS2 1.0 would still run under 1.x This is plainly not the case with Windows
  27. as some apps under 1.x wouldn't run under 2.x .....

  35. They ARE NOT PROMISING TO SUPPORT THE MAJORITY.  I will assume that you are
  36. unaware of the announcement made by Microsoft that they will aim to     
  37. provide 100% upport for the TOP 100 SELLING Windows applications and the 
  38. 100 TOP Selling DOS applications.

  42. In the near future OS2 will and very neatly by providing a 3.0 kernel and a 
  43. 3.1 Kernel.

  45. If you have honestly used the NT pre-beta and seen the quality of the 3.1
  46. and 16 bit dos support you would not trumpet this suport so loudly as it 
  47. is clearly inferior to that provided by OS2.
