- DMD drivers, which sit on top of the ADD driver layer, test a bit in
- the driver data structure to know if it is allowed to access the
- device. And the "!" options used above will reset the corresponding
- bits ("DM" for OS2DASD access [disk], "SM" for OS2SCSI access
- [tape,CDROM,...]), prohibiting any device access by the corresponding
- DMD driver.
