  34. You know, I've been fiddling with this as well.  I start two programs from
  35. my startup folder.  Since doing this I've had problems rebooting on occasion;
  36. PM freezes either with a blank screen or maybe gets a few icons/windows open
  37. first.

  39. Well, by chance and frustration, I noticed that if I hit a mouse button a
  40. few times (preferrably the left one, in a corner where you know nothing will
  41. appear), PM seems to work every time.  I wait until the background screen
  42. pops up, and the black outlines expand out to the corners, and then pull my
  43. pointer down to a corner and hit the left button a few times.  Works every
  44. time now.  Could be coincidence though, I'm not really sure.
