  12. Since the imminent CSD will include SVGA drivers for the most popular video
  13. cards, I went out and bought a Tseng Labs ET4000 SVGA video card. I replaced
  14. my existing video card with it, which was a bit slower although a good card
  15. (Trident 8900C).

  17. Running TE/2 in a window with my V32bis modem had been a bit slowish on the
  18. video refresh...........I often ran it full-screen, but then I couldn't cut
  19. and paste.......

  21. But with the Tseng video card, TE/2 is *much* faster in a window (at 640x480 -
  22. I haven't downloaded the SVGA drivers yet).

  24. I was surprised by the difference. I hadn't expected it to be so great.
  25. Perhaps when I get to 800x600, it won't be so noticeable.
