- Try doing a left_contrl - left_shift - F1 when the initial desktop
- background comes up and hold it down. This should disable any automatic
- startups.

- I haven't tried this yet. But to cure this and to prevent further occurrences
- of this, you can also try modifying the "AUTOSTART" in the config.sys.
