- I too have a problem with slow printing. Under DOS (at work) I use PCPS to
- print to LaserWriters on our network and it is incredibly fast. The network
- spoolers take the file as fast as PCPS and the ethernet can feed it to them.
- Under OS/2 I use PCPS and lprmon to get to the printers and everything slows
- down to a crawl. It doesn't take 10 minutes to do a small file, but it does
- take at least 10 times longer than under DOS. PCPS spools to lprmon slower
- than it does to the network spooler and lprmon takes forever to send it out
- to the network. Does anybody have any ideas what is going wrong?
