  12.     Dear OS/2 2.0 users,
  13.         I have a couple of problems with my os/2 2.0 and I was hoping
  14. some kind soul would help me out ...Please e-mail if at all possible as
  15. I don't rn a lot anymore.. I will post any and all responses I receive..
  16. If u have to post however then post and I will try to find your reply..anyways
  17. here are my 3 problems:

  19. 1.  Qmodem and os/2 2.0 - I have a 16550 UART and I have used the mode com1:
  20. 38400,,,,rts=hs but I feel that there may be something wrong with my DOS 
  21. settings can someone please give me the ideal DOS settings for Qmodem?

  23. 2.  Colorado 250 MB tape backup-  A while back (about 3 months) someone
  24. posted the ideal settings to get the tape.exe software to work well with os/2 
  25. 2.0 I saved the file but accidentally lost it can someone please re=post or 
  26. tell me what the perfect settings for a dos tape-backup program to work right 
  27. with os/2 2.0?

  29. 3.  VGA probs.. I have a Trident 8900c VGA card w/1 MB and I have installed
  30. the 800x600x16c with seamless windows support and it works great except when
  31. I use ALT-HOME to make a window take up the full screen and then use alt-home
  32. again to make the screen smaller and then use it a third time to make it full
  33. screen again it messes up my display (it comes up with a insect view of the screen or a fisheye lens view, it has the same screen but copied about 4 times
  34. and strewn across the 4 corners of my monitor-not a pretty sight). I tried vgasync but with no luck...

  36. PS. My system is a 386-33 w/212MB HD ( a 110 Meg dos partition and a 90 Meg 
  37. HPFS) ...Oh yeah I have also installed all the trid_fixes and the kernl 
  38. update and every relevant patch I could find...Oh yeah does anyone know when
  39. the CSD is going to come out?????
