  14. I had no trouble with the old TE/2 (v1.10.c).  When I first got the
  15. new version (1.2), I had lots of problems.  Getting the new CommPak
  16. (v1.01) solved some of the problems, but I still had one nagging
  17. difficulty:  Zmodem autodownloads weren't working -- I'd get retry
  18. errors and eventual aborts.  However, I turned off the autodownload
  19. switch in TE2.INI (so that, to do Zmodem downloads, I have to press
  20. Alt-N), AND EVERYTHING WORKS GREAT!  I get about 1500-1600 cps for
  21. Zmodem downloads of compressed files, using v.32bis.  I get over 3000
  22. cps for uncompressed files.  I have no trouble doing these downloads
  23. in the background -- I have a 16550 UART, and my port speed is set at
  24. 57600 bps.
