  10. I recently added additional directories to the middle of my path statement
  11. in the autoexec.bat file.  When some of my apps failed to run (system
  12. couldn't find them), I checked the path and found that the directories on
  13. the end of the path had been lost.  I assumed I needed to increase my
  14. environment space and therefore added /E:1024 to the shell=command.com
  15. statement in config.sys and rebooted.  This change had no effect.  So how
  16. does one increase the DOS environment under OS/2?  I assume others have
  17. had this problem and this is a FAQ, but I haven't found the answer here or
  18. in the manual.
