- Multitask downloads? You mean more than one download at a time, or a
- download at the same time as anything else? Two simultaneous downloads
- are quite possible, one over each connection your machine has to the
- outside world. I have two serial ports and recently had downloads going
- over both of them simultaneously. Worked great. I think the trick is to
- have a real native OS/2 communications program. Some DOS programs expect
- to have the whole machine to themselves, so they continuously poll the
- serial port needlessly, thereby chewing up CPU cycles. Same thing applies
- to a single download while doing anything else with the machine.
