  20. Multitask downloads?  You mean more than one download at a time, or a
  21. download at the same time as anything else?  Two simultaneous downloads
  22. are quite possible, one over each connection your machine has to the
  23. outside world.  I have two serial ports and recently had downloads going
  24. over both of them simultaneously.  Worked great.  I think the trick is to
  25. have a real native OS/2 communications program.  Some DOS programs expect
  26. to have the whole machine to themselves, so they continuously poll the
  27. serial port needlessly, thereby chewing up CPU cycles.  Same thing applies
  28. to a single download while doing anything else with the machine.
