- I have installed Ispell v3.0.09 beta for OS/2 2.0 (downloaded
- from hobbes). It works fine in standalone mode, but I can't
- get it to work with emacs.
-
- Following the instructions in ISPELL.EL, I did a byte compile
- of that file. The appropriate autoloads were installed in
- DEFAULT.EL. When I try to run Ispell, it stops with the
- message "Starting new ispell process ...". The message can
- be cleared with ^G, but otherwise it just sits there. I tried
- the EMX.DLL that came with Ispell, but that didn't help.
-
- There are references to "egrep" and "look" in ISPELL.EL, but
- I take it these aren't required?
-
- Has anyone got this port to work?
-
- Thanks.
