- I noticed that 'shar -C' does not work using the version of shar in
- pub/os2/all/archivers/shar324x.exe at ftp-os2.nmsu.edu. The '-C' option
- is to call 'compress' and 'uuencode'. Looking over the executable (with
- 'strings'), it appears that redirection and pipes are causing the problem.

- Any comments? Pointers to other shar's for OS/2? I noticed that the GNUish
- shar 3.49 for DOS works...
