- I'm trying to run a program called Applied Structure from Rasna's
- Mechanica Software Line. It uses substantial
- amounts of extended memory in order to run. When I try to run it in a
- DOS session in OS/2, I get the following message from Mechanica:
-
- The 386 chip is currently executing in virtual 8086 mode under the
- control of another program. You must turn off this other program in
- order to use 386|DOS Extender to run in protected mode.
-
- Question: How I can I alter the session settings to get the program
- to run? I've tried increasing both DPMI and XMS settings.
