  11. I'm trying to run a program called Applied Structure from Rasna's
  12. Mechanica Software Line.  It uses substantial
  13. amounts of extended memory in order to run.  When I try to run it in a
  14. DOS session in OS/2, I get the following message from Mechanica:

  16. The 386 chip is currently executing in virtual 8086 mode under the
  17. control of another program.  You must turn off this other program in
  18. order to use 386|DOS Extender to run in protected mode.

  20. Question:  How I can I alter the session settings to get the program
  21. to run?  I've tried increasing both DPMI and XMS settings.
