- Funny, my system is configured with my modem on Comm port,4 and only a
- mouse hooked to anything else. While there are serial connectors
- hanging from Com 1 & 2, Com three doesn't even exist, and yet I am
- doing just fine with Terminal, Win100, Win QVT, the Auto dialer in
- Active Life and, of course, Telemate and Compuserve Information
- manager when I use them under Windows. The only problem thus far has
- been with Unicom, which doesn't want to recognize that I even have a
- modem (I'd try and explain, but even their tech people haven't a clue
- for why that happens). So either the conditions are pretty trivial to
- meet, or they don't exist in the way you think, or something.
