- : My SCSI adapter (Future Domain and Seagate before that) requires a
- : segment of high memory (for SCSI BIOS + other stuff). That means that I have to provide a
- : x=NNNN-NNNN argument in my EMM386 invocation so that the segment is
- : protected from corruption. Check your manual for the Adaptec, it
- : should tell you where this segment resides and how big it is. You can
- : also probably configure the memory location with jumpers on your
- : board.

- Best solution, for Adaptec at least, is to get, and load the ASPI driver. This
- will fix all your problems with Windows.
