- I am running a 386DX EISA machine under DOS 5.0.
- I use QEMM6.01 and a Hercules graphics screen.
- QEMM recognizes that Hercules doesn't use the addresses between a000:afff
- and adds the memory to DOS (I start with CHKDSK giving me 702,000 bytes
- of free memory for DOS).
-
- All worked fine with windows 3.0 but when I upgraded to windows 3.1
- I couldn't run in enchanced mode (dropped me back to my DOS prompt)
- until I told QEMM to exclude addresses between a000:afff. I miss my
- extra 64K memory. Any advice regarding what to do ?
-
- Thanks,
-
