  12. I am running a 386DX EISA machine under DOS 5.0.
  13. I use QEMM6.01 and a Hercules graphics screen.
  14. QEMM recognizes that Hercules doesn't use the addresses between a000:afff
  15. and adds the memory to DOS (I start with CHKDSK giving me 702,000 bytes
  16. of free memory for DOS).

  18. All worked fine with windows 3.0 but when I upgraded to windows 3.1
  19. I couldn't run in enchanced mode (dropped me back to my DOS prompt)
  20. until I told QEMM to exclude addresses between a000:afff. I miss my
  21. extra 64K memory. Any advice regarding what to do ?
