- I think the point was that this should be an *option*. It would be stupid to
- enable this option on a server machine but it does make some sense for client
- machines or stand-alone systems.

- As a compromise, is it possible to create a pseuso-user called "shutdown"
- which would shut down the system as part of its start-up? I presume that you
- would have to set the user profile to a program which shut down the system,
- but I don't know how to write such a program.
