  22. I think you will find that the release is a PRELIMINARY NOT BETA release
  23. although I believe by applying to uSoft it is relatively easy to become a beta
  24. site(plus the responsiblity inherent therein).  Briefly said is that the
  25. Preliminary release contains the SDK + a 32bit C compiler and will be followed
  26. by another drop shortly(this month promised) an a final drop.  The final drop
  27. will not include the 32 bit compiler, which uSoft will then extract DM's for.
  28. The Preliminary release is not complete and seems basically aimed at 
  29. developers and getting NT apps on the market etc etc.

  31. Adaptec 1542B is supported. I have a 212m Conner which is OK.  FOR THE
  32. PRELIMINARY RELEASE 12meg required 16meg recommended. ET4000 supported, I get
  33. 800x600 and I'm pretty sure there's ET4000 1024x768 there too.  If you want,
  34. and don't get all the info you need please e-mail.

  36. So if you're looking for anything special to beat the other guy on the block
  37. then be advised that this is aimed at developers and my feeling is that its
  38. quite a good ploy by uSoft to get NT apps on the market for the big NT 
  39. release.
