- The $500 price for the DDK includes preliminary printed docs
- and the final versions of the DDK (with final printed docs)
- as well. For comparison, the Win 3.1 DDK is also $500 but is
- a one shot deal.
-
- Question for all of you. Would you buy a CD only version of the
- NT DDK?? Our assumption has been that anyone developing would
- definitely want printed documentation, but perhaps we're wrong.
- In answering this question, please assume the docs are on the CD
- in Winword 2.0 format, and that everyone who buys it will print
- out the 900 page overview manual, plus one or two other 800 page
- manuals depending on the type of device you're writing. Is all the
- effort to print this out (and you must have Winword) worth it??
- Let me know.

- Thanks,
- Dwight Matheny, Product Manager.
