- I'm trying to use Visual Basic and the Professional Toolkit to create an
- application that will, essentially, do what the Sound Recorder will do.
-
- I'm using the AudioPort on a laptop. SoundRecorder icon works great. I can
- record a voice phrase, store it, and play back exactly what was said.
-
- Under VB I use the MCI.VBX control to get MultiMedia capability. I hit
- record and speak a phrase and then hit stop. When I hit play, I hear the
- phrase just spoken and then, immediately, a repeat of the ending few seconds
- of the phrase just spoken!
-
- I've been unable to figure out how to eliminate the ending few seconds! Any
- clues?
