  33. The faster way would be using the public domain versions of ZIP/UNZIP.
  34. ZIP has currently the version 1.9p1 (patch level 1) and UNZIP has the
  35. version 5.0.

  37. These programs are fully compatible with PKWares PK(UN)ZIP V1.93alpha,
  38. AND they are available for several systems (not only PCs). The C-SOURCES
  39. were distributed by Info-ZIP in the newsgroup comp.sources.misc some
  40. weeks ago. (So it's not a commercial product, and they may not be used in
  41. a commercial product).

  43. It's also true that PKWare has annouced the version V2.0 for PKzip/PKunzip,
  44. but looking at the work of Info-ZIP, I think that PKWare comes a bit late.
  45. I don't know, which net-nodes are in your near, but have a look at the
  46. following files:

  49.   unzip50.tar.Z (? .ZIP ?)
