  21. According to a message stamped on the outside of the manual for PKZip,
  22. which I received about two weeks ago after finally registering, "PKZIP
  23. version 2.0 for MS-DOS anticipated shipping date is within the next
  24. several months due to hardware faults discovered in newer 80386 & 80486
  25. machines."  I take this to mean that PKZIP version 2 is unavailable
  26. unless you have a beta version.
