- Being the owner of a PC without a sound board, I had almost accepted
- to live without sound in Windows - but then I heard of the PC-SPEAKER
- driver on ftp.cica.indiana.edu, I fetched it, installed it and hit the
- test button. SOUND!. Wow!. I then proceeded to assign sounds to
- various events - all of them actually.
-
- Now on to the problem.
-
- I get my tada sound when starting windows and my chime sound when
- exiting windows - otherwise nothing!. As I understand it, I should get
- my assigned sound (chord) when for instance a dialog box appears with
- an exclamation mark in it, but nothing happens. Am I misunderstanding
- something fundamental or what?
-
- Help please!
-
- Reply via e-mail if possible... otherwise please post.
-
- Thanks in advance!!!!
