- When I go into the MS Windows 3.1 Control Panel, select Printers, and
- install a Postscript Printer, I find that the connect box has a number
- of connection options available. LPT1, LPT2, etc., COM1, COM2, etc.,
- and FILE I understand. What the heck is the EPT selection? The
- on-line help does not have such a keyword. I could not find "EPT" in
- the manual's index.
-
- What the heck is an EPT?
-
- I connected the printer to the EPT for fun, and successfully printed a
- file to that port from Ami Pro 3.0. Nothing came out anywhere, of
- course. I suspect a file was written somewhere on my disk (but I was
- never asked where it should be written as I was with the FILE option).
-
- Clarification, please.
