- This is more of a hardware question, but it does involve Windows... I was
- looking amy Tseng ET4000 drivers for Windows, and I noticed that I have drivers
- for 32000 color modes.
-
- Now, I know that the colors are controlled by the RAMDAC, whatever that stands
- for, and I know that Edsun and a company called something like Sierra both make
- 32000 color RAMDAC chips. Would it be possible for me to replace my current
- RAMDAC with a 32000 color one? How much would the chip cost by itself, if this
- is possible? And which would I need, the Edsun or Sierra chip, or are they
- compatible?
-
- Any info would be appreciated...
