  16. I'm trying to print to a PostScript printer on my unix machine.
  17. My current configuration is to use MicroSofts PostScript driver
  18. save to file and then run NCSA lpr to my unix machine. This 
  19. works ok, but I'm having trouble fine tuning.

  21. Questions:
  22. 1. How do I specify font substitution. That dialog under the
  23. setup - options doesn't seem to do anything. What I am trying
  24. to do is map like 'Bookman' on MS3.1 to 'ITC Bookman' on my
  25. unix box. Also, for ATM fonts that I don't have on my unix
  26. box, I'd like MS3.1 to download them as Adobe type 1 fonts.

  28. 2. Can I generate Adobe type 1 fonts from MS3.1 ATM fonts?

  30. 3. Is there source code for a PostScript printer driver around?
  31. I'd like to integrate this code with lpr so I don't have to
  32. save to file and then run lpr seperately.

  34. 4. Is there a way instead of the print manager to save to file
  35. to pipe thru a program?

  37. 5. Is there a TSR out there that will remap a port (i.e. LPT2)
  38. to pipe output through a program?

  40. 6. Why can't I print landscape mode in excell. It comes out
  41. portrait no matter what.
