- I have a question which may or may not be a new one.
-
- I recently installed version 6.00 of the Logitech
- serial mouse drivers both for DOS and Windows.
- I can run Logibuttons fine under windows, and my mouse
- appears to function normally in all of my Windows apps.
-
- The only problem is, when I start Windows, I get a dialog
- box that says "This version of pointer options requires
- MOUSE.DRV version 8.20 or later". Why does this occur?
- I am using LMOUSE.DRV and the virtual mouse driver Logitech
- supplies for use with 386-enhanced mode.
-
- My environment:
-
- Gateway 200 486DX/33Mhz
- 4 MB RAM
- 200MB Western Digital HD
- Windows 3.1, MS-DOS 5.00
- 7 MB permanent swap file
- I also use Smartdrv and EMM386
