  24. Well, add me to the aforementioned ignorant 99%.  Course I've only had
  25. my machine running, with Windows, for 3 weeks.  And before that I didn't
  26. even know what you could do with .bmp files, .gif files, or most anything
  27. else.  I ftp-ed to cica at your advice, just for kicks (Like *I* knew
  28. what to do with a sound driver! HA!) and got it.  Then downloaded it and
  29. had it up and running in 20 minutes.  The best thing is, my local "computer
  30. guru" was ASTONISHED to hear how easy it was and that he could run sounds
  31. with only a pc speaker too.  By far, the best result so far of the sound
  32. driver, was having it set to "TADA" loudly when the machine was booted
  33. up, I FINALLY caught my father sneaking in to play Minesweeper early in
  34. the morning while I was still asleep! =)  Thanks for the advice!
