  10.   I used to be able to download in the background at 2400, but I can't
  11. anymore.  Right njow I have a 386/40 with 8 megs of ram and a Diamond
  12. Stealth VRAM video card.  I use qmodem so I set its background priority
  13. to around 350.  I the execute the dos prompt (priority 50).  I can start
  14. downloading, but as soon as I hit the hotkey to switch to dos, error!  I
  15. never had this problem before.  I eventually got mad and pruned windows
  16. from my drive and re-installed. HOW CAN I GET dloads to work?
