- I'm sure I'm connected with V.42bis. I've been told that one
- can only get those rates with text file transfers. I was
- transferring a binary file. Is there a big difference in the
- transfer rate between the two?
-
- I'll try to find out if the other modem is V.32bis or not. Has
- anyone out there transferred at 1700 cps? I'd like to know
- if I should have anything set (or unset) in my modem.
-
- Thanks,
