- I think most people are seeing somewhat more than 900 cps. For
- example, with a V.32 connection with V.42bis, I get about 1100 cps. I
- think the 'typical' figure for V.32bis is something like 1700 cps.
- Are you sure you have a V.32bis modem on the other end? The 900 cps
- sounds a lot more like a straight V.32 modem to me.
