- Mathematica for Windows ver 2.0 has been out for some time and is known
- to be *very* buggy.
-
- The good news is that version 2.1 is now available which, from what I
- have heard, is a stable product. I didn't get a notice that the upgrade
- was now available. I found out about it on CompuServe and ordered it last
- week (it hasn't arrived yet).
-
- The upgrade is $50 (for both student and non-student versions) including
- shipping, manuals, etc. They said it is a special deal since there were
- soo many problems with 2.0. If you have the non-student version a
- maintenance deal is available that sounds pretty good at about $150 a
- year (includes at least 2 upgrades). Those of us that have student versions
- don't qualify for the maintenance deal.
-
- Their number is: 1-800-441-6284
-
- Hope this helps,
- Don
