- I've seen this come up before, but I don't remember seeing a good
- answer. The request: a way to number equations so that (1)
- the number of the equation automatically changes if other
- equations are added/deleted, and (2) references to the equations
- will also change as needed.

- 1) is easy...you can use a powerfield with "seq". Don't know
- how to do (2), though. Given that you can imbed a macro into
- a powerfield, it certainly seems that this should be possible.
- A solution doesn't leap to mind, though. Buying the macro
- developer book would probably help, but I haven't done that
- yet.
