- Yep, That would do it. I figured after reading some previous posts that
- It had to be either VSHIELD or PC-CACHE. I guess I should have known...
- I wonder, why wouldn't a cache intercept the "warm-boot", Flush the
- write-back buffer and then proceed with the warm-boot. Next, I also hope that
- the "great" makers of the 486dx cachers somehow made sure that the buffer
- was flushed by the warm boot. Seems like a power loss would be possible with
- hardware to flush...
