  13. Somebody asked me to give them a program to reboot (wouldn't you know...)
  14. And, yes, this is a rather (ahem!) naive user, who *is* using Windows,
  15. so the usual solution (heh heh) will not be a good thing.

  17. Anyway, I got the FAQ, and yup, there it is, in part3, sample code to
  18. reboot safely.

  20. My question is this:

  22.     Is the example given intended to be used as is?
  23.     (Or is there some other gotcha, and this is just code presented
  24.     FYI, etc...)

  26.     I mean, I know I end up sounding like the world's biggest
  27.     weenie, but its like it would be nice if someone would compile
  28.     it and put it on an FTP site somewhere.

  31. particularly recent.
