  22. }You don't need to have a SCSI drive/card to have two hard drives.  It is quite
  23. }possible in most cases to daisy chain a second hard drive onto and existing
  24. }IDE drive.  This occasionally doesn't work with pairs of drives from different

  26. There are also a few IDE controllers which handle four drives, and IDE
  27. controllers which can be set to a secondary address (I don't know if the
  28. intersection of these two sets is non-empty).  So you can have seven SCSI
  29. drives and four IDE drives in one system....  You'll need drivers for the
  30. SCSI disks, of course, and probably for the third and fourth IDE disks.
