- I've no experience with Pacific Page's products, but I would check
- that they can be installed in a IIIP. Also, if it's important to you,
- you should also confirm whether Pacific Page uses licensed Adobe
- PostScript, or a PostScript clone. If it's the latter, your purchase
- should include a money-back guarantee if you have difficulty priting
- the type of PostScript work you require. I have heard of differences
- between Adobe PostScript and clones, so this is something you should
- test thoroughly if the PPage isn't using Adobe code.
-
- As for the HP PostScript cart, I've used these extensively. They work
- well, though the speed is slower than a dedicated PostScript printer.
-
- If you're interested, I have an extra HP PostScript cartridge. I
- bought 4, but wound up only needing 3. This is still in the original
- HP shrinkwrap. The cartridge is the original version of the cartridge
- that does PostScript level 1, not the latest version that supports
- PostScript level 2. If you're interested, make me an offer.
