  10. Ok, of all the crazy things someone could do... I bought a new 5.25" HD drive
  11. for an old 8088 computer.  Well, I can't get it to work on that computer...
  12. It works like a dream on my other computer.  So far I've tried drive.sys, but
  13. as I'm sure most of you know, you can't redefine drive 0 or 1 (drive a or b).
  14. So it was a no go there.  Then I tried drivpram to set it up as a HD drive.
  15. Well, that ALMOST worked.  It will occasionally acknowledge the drive, and it
  16. goes through the boot check without any problems...AND when I try to format
  17. a disk in that drive it goes as far as to say, formatting 1.2, but then it
  18. gives me a general disk failure or some such... Any suggestions???? HELP!
