  15. I have the following problem with DOS 5.0 HIMEM.SYS:

  17. When I boot my AT-clone the following message appears:

  23. Installed A20 handler number 14.   <========  ????????
  24. 64K High Memory Area is available.

  27. after that I find
  28.     HMA not available : Loading DOS low
  29. on the screen.

  31. MEM/C tells me:
  32.     High Memory Area in use
  33. instead of the usual
  34.     MS-DOS Resident in High Memory Area
  35.  
  36. Is there anyone out there who knows why handler #14 is installed
  37. instead of #1? Why is HMA in use while it wasn't available during
  38. boot-up?
