  11. i've just goten back into PC service recently and have only been 
  12. using MSDOS 5 for a few weeks. in these few weeks i have seen an
  13. astounding number of corrupted FATs, partition tables and file 
  14. systems in general. i'm *very* tempted to blame DOS but i just 
  15. don't know... every machine i'v seen this problem on had WP51
  16. as well. is there an easy fix/known problem that causes these
  17. sorts of errors?

  19. also, just yesterday i partitioned a 102 MB drive to 51 and 51;
  20. today, D: is gone. chkdsk c: shows correct numbers, but fdisk thinks
  21. C: is 102 MB, which is absurd. Norton found the IBM stamp missing
  22. from a partition (didn't say which one) and fixed that, but NDD also
  23. thinks C: is 102 MB.  any ideas?
