- I stack a significant number of floppies. While I have not done any actual
- timings, my gut reaction is that the ones I stack at 4k clusters are much
- slower then the default 8k. In fact, after loading the stacker, I don't
- notice any significant difference in access at 8k and unstacked diskettes.
- I assume the same would be true for stacked hard drives. (I have stopped
- stacking floppies at 4k clusters, since the actual increase in storage
- space seems to be very minimal. It might be better over larger hard
- disks.)
