- Good Day,
-
- I'm hoping to start as a sysadmin for an RS6000 next week.
-
- We've got the box, we've gotten IBM to load the OS (can I assume AIX?). It's
- going to be used primarily by physics students. I haven't even had time to
- look at it.
-
- I have minimal C programming experience. I maintain 1400 IBM PCs. I'm about
- to start on a self-imposed crash-course in UNIX. :-) Any suggestions would be
- greatly appreciated.
-
- If there's a more appropriate group for this type of question, let me know.
- Please use e-mail to respond as I don't want to clutter up this group.
-
- Thanks, -- jim kraai
