- I too have had problems with MINIX on PS/2s model 55SX (a 386SX 12 Mhz
- machine) with a Microchannel bus. The BIOS boot disk works just fine,
- but both an AT boot disk and a PS/2 boot disk seem to have trouble with the
- hard drive. I have successfully used the AT disk on numerous clones
- and the PS/2 boot disk on PS/2 model 30-286 (which I beleive is an AT
- ISA bus). It's nice that the bios disk works, but using 640K (on a
- machine with several Mb of physical memory) with several MINIX virtual
- consoles is getting to be a drag.... I assume that IBM has once again
- changed the HD controller and that I need a new wini.c driver. Anyone know
- of any drivers specifically for MicroChannel PS/2's?? Or (as the FAQ
- suggests) is this simply a matter of changing disk parameters (NR_SECTORS,
- etc. ) in config.h???

- Thanks Much.
