  11. Hello everyone!

  13. I have a perplexing Minix problem I hope to get resolved
  14. in this forum.  I am running (trying to run) Minix 1.5.
  15. However I can't get the thing to boot.  I'm using the
  16. PC boot disk on an IBM XT clone.  However, when prompted
  17. to hit the "=" key I get the following error message:

  19.     Nonmaskable Interrupt
  20.     Process Number -9, pc=0x0060:0x00000A70fd0
  21.         s set RAM disk size(now 0) (real size is from RAM image)
  22.     Kernel Panic: exception in kernel, mm or rfs
  23.     Type any key to reboot

  25. Interestingly enough it boots fine on my brothers AT clone
  26. (when using the AT boot disk).

  28. Originally I thought it may be an IBM compatibility issue.  But
  29. I have version 1.2, and I got it running just fine (I must admit
  30. it was a while ago though).
