- I have a bug thats driving me nuts, so I'll ask and see if any of you
- might know the answer. I'm running Mach 2.5 from Mt. Xinu on a 486/33 with
- a Western Digital card. (wd0). Occassionally the machine will simply 'forget'
- that it has ethernet. It just hangs. When you try to ping, it says it can't
- reach the site, etc. I can fix the problem by running /etc/neton, and it will
- start up again. I don't see any reason why it suddenly 'decides' there is
- no card. Also, if the machine is booted up from a cold start it recognizes
- that wd0 exists, but if I run a reboot, and do not turn the power off the
- machine it will not recognize that there is a wd0. Has anyone had a similar
- problem? Does anyone know how I can fix it? Please, any assistance would
- help.. Its driving me nuts trying to figure out whats causing it..
