  13.     Got getty and uugetty stuff goin, thanks to Willian Jones' 
  14. posts and the sunsite.unc.edu ditro of gettyps203.  Thanks.
  15. Now a question:
  16.     I want to dial-ins to be able to do file transfers after
  17. having logged into my machine.  As it stands, when the user starts
  18. kermit to transfer the file the user locks after reading this error:
  19. Error opening /dev/tty
  20. congm: Operation not permitted
  21. C-Kermit 5A (179) BETA, 8 Feb 92, POSIX
  22. Type ? or HELP for helzxzyzx}}zxzyzyzx}zx}}}...... (etc.)
  23.            Is this the file being sent^^^^^^^^^^^^?
  24. Anyone know what is going on, or have any help.  Much appreciated
