I am the semi-proud owner of PLI 16bit QuickSCSI host adapter which is based on the Future Domain controller chip. All works fine under MS-DOS but linux 0.97 isn't too happy about it. I get to the point in the boot where linux is scanning for SCSI drives and it finds my drive on SCSI 2 , reports a timeout error, then scans the other scsi addresses then just sits there and sits there..... until I get bored and reboot. Tha drive light is always active whilst this is going on.
