I'm having the same problem, except that root does not work even. Also, elm could not find the mailboxes (folders). I had to create empty files in /var/spool/mail... - is htere any way I could change this target directory??
Even the generic mail program does not work - the mail is sent, but there is no delivery. I need help setting this up. Please post.
