  12. I just got the 0.97pl5 and compiled it under 2.2.2 no problem. I had to do a
  13. make depend first - but I was kinda expecting that. It also booted up OK.

  15. The problem I'm having is with the utmp (or is that wtmp) file. "who" no
  16. longer works for me, but "last" is still OK. I looked at the utmp file (yes,
  17. I know it isn't plain text), and it looked a mess. It also seems to grow
  18. very quickly to large sizes....

  20. I am using GCC 2.2.2, kernel 0.97PL5. The init, getty and bash are all from
  21. the 0.96 root disk.
