  11. Hi.
  12. I currently need some advice as to which svga board to purchase
  13. to allow X386 to its full potential.

  15. I currently have a ProParadise 512k with max resolution of 800x600.
  16. Unfortunately, my monitor does not support 800x600, but it does
  17. support 1024x768.  Therefore, I had to resort running X under
  18. 640x480x256.  Under this mode, the xterms scroll very slowly,
  19. and the computer cannot seem to refresh the screen as fast
  20. as it wants (I have a 386 33- 8 megs).  This slow speed
  21. I think originates from the slow card.

  23. I've heard that the ET-4000 cards are enhanced graphics cards,
  24. that allow quick redraws (coprocessed?).  If so, what
  25. brand is compatible with X.  Are the Orchid Series just that?
